Testimonials

What international clients say

I own 3 rental properties in Istanbul. Gülseren handles my annual tax filings and advised me through the citizenship-by-investment process. Responsive, professional, and treats small clients with the same care as large ones.

We relocated our SaaS operation from Berlin to Istanbul for tax efficiency. Galata CPA handled the branch office setup, GDPR-compliant invoicing, and our monthly accounting. Having someone who works fluently in English is priceless.

Gülseren set up my Turkish company in 8 days and handles all VAT/customs for my FBA imports. Clear written scope upfront, replies within hours, and unusually strong on customs — most Turkish CPAs I spoke to didn't even understand FBA.

FAQ

Common questions from foreign clients

Do I need to be in Turkey to open a company?

No. With a power of attorney, we handle the entire process remotely. You only need to be present for the bank account opening (or a visit can be arranged).

How long does company formation take?

Typically 10 business days from the moment we have your documents. This includes tax ID, chamber registration, notary, and initial e-signature setup.

What is the cheapest legal structure for a foreign freelancer?

It depends on your income level and client mix. For most freelancers with lower revenue, a sole proprietorship (şahıs şirketi) is cheapest to run; as revenue grows, an LLC (LTD) usually becomes more advantageous on tax.

Can I open a Turkish bank account as a foreigner?

Yes — with your company documents, tax ID, and passport. We coordinate bank appointments and accompany you if needed.

Do you help with work permits or residence permits?

Yes. Company ownership can be a pathway to a Turkish residence permit. We work with trusted immigration lawyers for this track.

How much does ongoing accounting cost?

Fees depend on entity type, transaction volume and scope, and are set in a written engagement letter. Professional rules for Turkish CPAs (TURMOB advertising regulations) do not allow us to publish fees — contact us for a scope-specific quote.
